This short clip is 『Jongno』(2006,4min) directed by Satoshi Ono.
The back alleys of Jongno(Seoul,South Korea), aka Pimatgol, are lit up even brighter at night. When the hustle and bustle of the night passes and the all the drunk people leave, the alleys are filled with only empty bottles, trash, and the echoes of those who passed through them. The days and nights of Jongno seen through the eyes of a Japanese director are recreated in bizarre images with the conflict between imagery and sound.
