Transworld Volley: A Documentary Part 2

Several times every year a group of athletes set a course for europe in the pursuit of a solitary goal. Scattered about the myriad of worldwide professional volleyball leagues are available contracts, and these athletes arrive ready to fight for them. Set in locations both spectacular and remote, these individuals weather intense training, alien culture and language, fierce competition, all while forging friendships, resuming rivalries, and doing whatever it takes to prolong their athletic careers. Some will party their opportunity away, some will come face to face with the fact they were never good enough, some will get homesick, and a select few will realize their dream....

I don't know who they're playing against, but I suspect they're minor teams indeed. If you think about it, why should the big clubs give these guys a match? That's just a guess, though. I've seen high-level German teams play, and they're considerably better than the opponents here.

Most of the players from US don't make it. It's a dream. I would know, European level is so much higher. All the real good players in the US do come over to Europe because of that! The guys in this vid all end up going to minor teams.

its true, there are really good players in the us, but nobody seems to care over here. thats why they all play overseas.

the guys they place against dont seem to be too good =\ im only 18 and five foot Five and i can do better =\ and jump higher, these is kinda sad if this is all europe can do, unless they are playing against olympic players
