I do love this version..been waiting for a studio version of this for a decade! True..the album version is different, but I still love it though. I suppose after 11+ years since this song made it's debut, you have to change it a little. Not a major difference though.

If you have ever wondered how the energy of a crowd affects a band, compare this with the version from Barcelona. This is very good, but Barcelona takes you to the land Springsteen is singing of, and hoping for.

It gives me chills still and i listen to this probably once a week since it was released in 2001. I also like his ending on more recent tours with "Come on this train"

Very powerful, thanks for posting...one of my favorite songs/videos from the NYC show in 1999 at Madison Square Garden...The Church of Bruce, AMEN!!! Love Max at 6:30 and after..the best!
