It is a Brazilian commercial, is crowd asking to the beetle come back it was 1994 because VW stoped to make it in Brazil in 1986, but it wasn`t successeful and stoped again in 1996.

@rafaelmoreir sorry my friend, but the production of the VW Sedan (Fusca in Brazil or Vocho in Mexico) ended in 2003 in Puebla, Mexico. I have one of this cars (Vocho) and it's a great car! (Y)

And yes, it's a brazilian commercial. The Beetle production ended in 1986.
In the 90's, the fever in Brazil was popular cars, with one liter engines which paid lower taxes.
And in 1993, the president (Itamar Franco), a huge Beetle fan, asked VW if they could bring the Beetle back. For him, it was the only real popular car.
Today, even only 16~17 years of use, they're sold for about R$10,000~15,000. It cost's, in 94, about R$6500~7000.
And the prices are still rising...
