Professionalism at KHNL

I usually watch the 5 pm news on KGMB, but with football season, there's no news there and KHNL is one channel away. Boy did I pick a good day to switch.

As I was watching the broadcast, I was surprised to watch Paul Drewes announce *his own* layoff with no fuss, no muss, and a promise to "continue to give viewers compelling stories and important information".

That, to me, speaks volumes about the professionalism of a journalist who can report the news when said journalist is part of the (Les than upbeat) story of the day.
