@digitalX198 True. I don't think that guy lasted in sales.

he met a wall and hit it hard... and then kept hitting his head into it...

@SaintTaurus no emails get disguarded, a half decent sales rep can easily turn a client on the phone, it's even easier face to face. i'd say success rate depends firstly on what you're selling but i'd imagine from 1000 emails you'd be lucky to get just a single appointment. from 100 phone calls maybe one apt. from 20 face to face interactions maybe one apt. from 10000 drop leaflets maybe one apt as this is the least effective method for most products.

hahhhahahaha lets meet up so ican get kiiled

Phone calls are lame..
Wouldn't email be a little more effective? You get to plan out what you want to say and send it all at once. There is not nervousness because its not in real time.

Wow, this guy doesnt get it, huh? Behave with definitive purpose already...if you dont know why you are calling me, Im likely not going to know either.
Worse yet, not only do you not have a value proposition, you likely dont even know what that means...and certainly dont value your time.
"Whats my goal?" Thats simple! To meet with you and waste even MORE of your time! :) One word: CLICK!

He answered the phone! Once he did that he is on the hook - real him in. Why would you ask for 10 minutes of his time when he is on the phone already? You wouldn't last a minute on our team!
man that was painful

You know, all that financial planning...stuff. All those crazy numbers and graphs and stuff. What does it all mean? Heck if I know. I just like to look at all the colors and shapes. Sometimes the colors talk to me. What's my goal? Just to talk to you. I'm sooo lonely.....
