Since ancient times, adventurous women have taken up weapons to defend their homeland or fight evil. Please enjoy these images of female warriors from fantasy, myth, and history. More videos on my "Women Warriors Art" playlist plus much more on my blog at werewolfking.blogspot.com. Nothing X-rated!

  • I really loved the Conan music, good choice.

I heard that some people says that muscled women are too ugly, but, I prefer a nice beautifull strong woman who can defend herself. Not a thin woman. Many arts from comics make us believe that thin woman can wear a heavy armor!

  • Loved the "Conan" music. Really gets one in the mood. A wicked assortment of women warriors really giving it to the bad guys, yet quite artistically without excessive nudity. Good job!

  • @AmazonArtCollector ARe you kidding me bro. I've read and seen Sonja! But Jirel? Sure will.

  • @PokerWhale If you want fantasy, give "Red Sonja" and "Jirel of Joiry" a read. Both depict female warriors and are available in paperpack. "RS" became a movie and is available on DVD. "RS" female lead is a merentary warrior while "JOJ" female lead is a witch-hunter. Both excellent books. And, thanks, I will check out Dossouye.

  • @AmazonArtCollector I checked them out. Not for me. I'm looking for something not greek or roman, a fantastical world where a woman does what and where she wants. No fake so-called historical stuff. Check out Dossouye by Charles R Saunders, I think you'll like it.

  • @PokerWhale Additional fantastic books on the gladiatrix are Russel Whitfield's two novel, "Gladiatrix" and "Roma Victrix". Both are available from Amazon.com. I've read them and the character development and fight scenes are awesome and quite bloody.

  • @PokerWhale The book is called "The Lady Of The LIght" by Donna Gillespie. It's the sequel to "The Light Bearer". Ms. Gillespie wrote me that there was supposed to be a movie deal, but it fell through. If you've read "TLB", you must read "TLOTL" to learn the fate of the main character, Auriane, and how she copes in Rome as a gladiatrix suprema. Both books are excellent portrayals of the fighting woman.

  • @AmazonArtCollector I've heard about this too. What's up with it?

  • @KnowImillian Thanks for sharing that info about the new woman warrior. I'll try to check it out and, if I can get some artwork from the book or a cover, I'll add it to this video.

  • @AmazonArtCollector Ahahaha You took me meaning wrong, I was commenting on how Moltar112 has just ensured he will never reproduce by the way he talks about women lol

  • @tyroneemail Please don't be so chauvenistic! Women are serving with bravery and distinction in the US and other countries militaries. Women will never be equal to men unless they have a chance to prove themselves brave and relentless in combat. Men and women will always coexist together in society. However, equal rights means equal responsibility so I'm all for women in combat.

  • @moltar112 My friend.... sadly... you have just ensured the end of your line in human evolution
