Dogwood Springs proudly introduces DSA Hey Baby to our list of world class mares. With Class A accomplishments already to her credit, she made her national debut at the 2006 Egyptian Event in Lexington, Kentucky. Hey Baby's Egyptian Event record now includes an impressive list of accomplishments including:
2007 Champion Three Year old Futurity Fillies with Shawn Crews
Head and Neck Scores: 19.5, 20, 19.5
Arabian Movement Scores: 19.5, 18, 18.5
2006 Second Place Two Year old Futurity Fillies with Shawn Crews
At the 2007 Egyptian Event, Hey Baby held the highest number of points of any mare at the show, behind only the Supreme Champion Mare and Reserve Supreme Champion Mare. At the 2006 Event, Hey Baby tied the first place filly in points in her Two Year old Futurity Filly class, but was awarded a technical second according to call judge rankings. She was one of only two in her futurity class that year to score a perfect 20, a class which was very large and highly competitive. She is headed back to Lexington again in 2009 to compete against some of the country's best mares.
Dogwood Springs Arabians looks forward their first foal out of Hey Baby in July of 2009, by the beautiful German import Alaa Jabaar.
Her exotic look and extreme type is sure to make her an excellent producer of champions. Her playful personality and exceptionally sweet disposition has made her a favorite to anyone who has the pleasure to meet her!
