DVD/CD duplication by CDROM2GO - DVD Duplication process, DVD/CD replication explained by Your Duplication Experts in detail. Duplication is the process of recording information onto blank discs, CD or DVD, often called burning. The duplication process is often referred to as burning because a laser is used to heat a chemical dye in the disc and literally "burn" marks that will be read as data. • Hi, i'm a musician, and has near finished my album, once its recorded, I'm Hopeing to start selling it on the internet, but i want a really good professional Cd/ Case, Do i send you the songs and artwork and you do the Processing. And what do i do about Copyrights

  • @shuttsworth If you send me your contact information, I can have a sales rep guide you through the process.

  • 5 colour printing? What's the other colour? (i thought they used cmyk)

  • Standard discs are not white; therefore any white areas need to be printed white. A knockout can also be used which is an area where no ink is applied; this lets the shiny area of the disc show through. The 5 inks used are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black and White.

  • Nonsense, large record labels do not duplicate CDs by burning CD-Rs, they press them.

CD burning etches pits and lands on a special dye coating with a laser. CD pressing first etches a master disc then physically presses this information into the plastic discs by injection moulding, kind of like high-tech jello moulding.

  • wow, i learn something everyday.

  • @30kb112 You actually can make something like this home.

you use the standard DVD burners you can buy everywhere.

The printing can be done on a special printer. Canon Pixma ip4600.

But you need to buy special discs that are white. like in the video.

Verbatim and TDK make them. just look for the word "printable" on the label.

  • how much would this cost

  • This video is misleading.

It implies CD-R burning is the standard mass production method, instead of pressing.

  • i want one of those machines so when i record sound and dat i can burn alot of cds unattended

  • this is cool, when i get a band goin id like to get this done on my own.

  • @adohn386 Sorry for the late response, but we only have plants in US. If you message me your information, I can forward it on to suppliers we have in asia.
