@flexyco ."weak" driveshafts you mention. Well all I can say is my now (November 2010) 34 year old GS's driveshafts are fine. Last used yesterday and will be again today. Maybe I can let you know in another 34 years time if I think mine are problematic.
The only mechanical weakness I have experienced on the GS was when running the 1299cc engine through gearbox--designed for 1015cc engines. Once the planet wheel in the diff broke. A one off?--I do not know. But they are 30+yrs old

Remember that the drive axles are quite weak on the GS/A, don't do much high-power acceleration in corners. How is fuel efficiency? G type engines are overcooled and therefore very thirsty. Make sure you always use the best oil and change often, the camshafts wear out quickly if handled wrong. Greetings from the Netherlands! I had a GS X3 once, wonderful car (only GS type with 1299cc and close ratio gearbox).

looks decent! i like that you cant really hear that its turbo. or is that just the vid? what boost? when does it come in? answer me man!! ;-) sounds like it comes in pretty smoothly? unlike mine... lol
