Campaigning in Indianapolis on Wednesday, Barack Obama urged Americans not to panic over the faltering economy, saying that better days lie ahead. (Oct. 8)
well said, i don't think neither of those guys know that there is a Constitution that they must abide to. Ron Paul should have been the republican nominee. people would then see what republicanism really means
Obama blocked a bill that was co-sponsored by Mccain in 2005 and again in 2007 that would have regulated Freddie and Fannie. He did it because the housing industry contributes thousands and thousands to his campaign. This is a fact you should know and look up.
Its slipping away because you and ACORN forced banks to take subprime loans with threats of racism and then when things were going wrong in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and Chuck Schumer stopped legislation to help bring oversight to those two Democrat government entities.
Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson made a bundle then went to work in the Obama campaign. Thats why Obama is not crying foul and doesn't want an investigation. Another slick willie!
I agree about the waste of 30 minutes of a speech! And the 100's of millions he is spending on media, which comes from foreign country donations he won't reveal.
hi52me: WE DON'T NEED A HALF HOUR SPEECH ON ECONOMY...WE NEED RELIEF !!
U can ask him for relief when U vote him in... He is spending Millions donated by folks like you who want to oust the people who rendered them paupers (or nearly so).
Stop whining now and send him ur contribution.
P.S. U can ask him him for relief when he is in office... If U want relief now.. Ask Bush and his lot.
Sen. Obama has raised millions of cash for his campaign compared to Mccain's puny ~$80 million from public financing. Many people are losing homes and jobs. Prices are high and bills are increasing. Meanwhile, OBAMA IS SPENDING MILLIONS ON COMMERCIALS AND ALSO THE HALF HOUR PRIME TIME SLOT IN CBS. AS A CHANGE AGENT, AS A NEW KIND OF POLITICIAN, CAN'T HE CONTRIBUTE ATLEAST SOME MILLIONS TO STRUGGLING PEOPLE AROUND THIS COUNTRY ?. WE DON'T NEED A HALF HOUR SPEECH ON ECONOMY...WE NEED RELIEF !!

Fact is in September of 2003 President Bush recommended a complete Regulatory Overhaul of the Finance Industry and it was blocked by the Democrats.

Since there are many versions of the Bush Doctrine, which one are you talking about? In fact does anyone know which one the media is referring to?

He is telling us there are better days ahead and he has steady leadership. And he still is using McCain's belief in America.
Which steady leadership? He changes his plan more than Kerry.
