Episode 2: How to play "I Am Free" by Desperation Band. Simple instructional video including tabs, how to play the song, and how it should sound. Intro, Verse, Chorus.
Again, please send me feedback on how I can improve my episodes to make a better experience for all of you :)

  • Nice "how to play" this is the third video I watched and you do a great job of showing how to play it. How do you get the TAB on screen? Nice I have taken notes! I am just playing the major chords on acoustic but will practice on my electric and get brave enough to do this one with my praise band on electric soon. Thank You.

  • @BeefJerkyManz

I add the tabs through a simple video editor called Windows Movie Maker.

  • Nice video, done well. Question -around 6:20-6:30 or so you play the intro w/delay. The tab and your picking look like 8th notes, and you say you have the tap set to 8th notes, but it sounds more like 16ths- is the pedal set to play dotted 8ths or something? Otherwise if you played 8ths and set the tap to 8ths all the echoes would just line up on top of each other...

  • @jmcotton

    dotted 8ths.

  • ..., BOSS SD-1 Super Overdrive, DIGITECH Jamman) and one of them (so far) I made myself: The Double Feature OD & Boost (The metal-looking pedal). Also, the cables between each pedal are currently Planet Waves solderless customizable cables & tips. But I plan to switch them over to George L's. In the next few weeks.

I should be posting a video on my YouTube channel about the pedals I use and how I like to incorporate their unique sounds in the music I play. Just be watching for the new episode!!

  • @nicozYAY
