strengthnfaith, there is beautiful yodeling in both places but as i note in my book YODEL-AY-EE-OOO: THE SECRET HISTORY OF YODELING AROUND THE WORLD, you can find yodeling in some VRY strange places like Holland, Belgium, France, Papua New guinea, Canada, South America, Spain, Koreans, Taiwanese... and so many other cultures. that is why i am writing a second book called YODEL IN HIFI

Just goes to show we are all connected somehow, until something made us go our seperate ways and some remained where they were and still are. I watched vids about some indegenous of Equador, the Indios of Brazil and the East Africans have same custom of wearing lip plates and piercing. How do that happen? Could it be coincident? They share many similar traits too.

National Geographic has several films about the Baka out showing even changes throughout the years. They are circumspect and very intelligent people that have been gettin roughshod over by their neighbors who have been stealing their land to cut down the forests. This is slowly denying them their way of life, the true global conservationists. The way they deal with issues is in a manner of True Democracy, everyone in the group has a vote.
