I was in Nashville about the same time, and I'm a friend of Dave's. I think this was on the Ralph Emery show, "Nashville Now". I was on that show too, about a week before.

Many years ago a friend gave me one of his tapes [ like I said..yeaRS AGO-LOL ] Fantastic.Inches & Miles , I believe.

I believe this was the 1980s Nashville Network program "American Country"? Never one to sell-out, Dave quickly tired of Nashville and returned home to Maine. But those Nashville sessions were awesome. By the way -- that's the late Roy Husky, Jr. on bass, and Stuart Duncan on mandolin (also played fiddle on Dave's album.) His lyrics...his stories, are also a great way to re-live one's past. He sings of the America we've about lost.

David Mallett is an incredible artist- singeer. writer & player- fantastic at all three!! Love the late '80's Guild GF-60 (Eric Clapton model) guitar!! :-)
