Please watch parts 1 & 2 first. This is the final video of the series. Dedicated to all of the Sheepdogs & Patriots. This is a review of my vest, and thigh rig. I also show some of the items I keep in the vest.

Keep in mind this vest is a work in progress. I'm currrently modifying it to suit my needs. The items are basically examples, and are not set in stone. I will be adding additional items not shown in the video. I also may choose to remove some non-essential items I've shown in the video. All my kits are always being improved, and changed to be as effecient, and high performance as possible. Every situation is different. It is wise to choose the proper items for the situation.

This is Part 3 of 3

  • Would you carry a N.B.C. mask for protection against nerve gas?

  • Yes. The mask I have originally came with a syringe with antidote or something to help with nerve gas. My mask is surplus so the syringe is expired, and was taken out of the box.

  • Could someone tell me where I could get a pair or three of the plastic zip cuffs?

  • You can choose from different kinds in Brigade Quartermasters com

  • when testing the fit of your gear keep in mind the noise it makes. some guys hang all kinds of crap off their rigs, and when you walk (run) it is really loud. The purple and blue "painters masking tape" can be used to quitely secure items and wont leave a reidue like duct tape. grat vid series, im too lazy to make my own but your videos will save someones life oneday, keep up the good work.

  • Yes stealth is extremely important. Ranger bands are also excellent for reducing noise and preventing things from rattling together. The only reason I would be hesitant to use painters tape is because of the color. If you are trying to evade someone or just stay concealed, even a small amount of blue could give away your position. Also I'm not going to be hanging a bunch of stuff. I want to keep it absolutly as simple as I possibly can. Soon I'll make a vid of my pistol belt/Y harness LBE. THX:)

  • One thing u might want to add to your L.b.e. Is a bulletproof helmet

  • not sure about zip cuffs...but you can get a pack of 10 zip ties on amazon for pretty cheap.

  • Just some thoughts: I have the same vest, it's awsome and holds tons. I would put MRE's in back bladder area...keep quick needed items in the front. Nice vid., thanks!

  • Good videos

  • The leg pouch is a Molle canteen / multi purpose pouch. Putting the flap in, it is used for a 1qt canteen. Flap up, it is a general purpose pouch. BTW, great videos Ryan!

  • I think you pouch is actually for a canteen and the pockets on the side are for water purification equipment, or a small knife. Great video, I only wish I had all of that stuff!!! I'm still at college (not sure what the American equivalent is... But I'm out of high school), an I'm slowly building myself one of these sets. British laws say no to anything that is even slighty dangerous though so it dosent look too hopeful for the AK-47 of the glock.

  • hey bro check out cheaper than dirt

  • It's commonly referred to as an SAA or South African Vest. I've seen some on Cheaper Than Dirt.
