Phoney "Islamic scholar" Robert Morey Says John Ankerberg Was Afraid From Criminal Threats

Radio host Bob Morey & author of the poorly researched "Islamic Invasion" (see other "truthseekerbobmorey" videos on Youtube for documentation) talks about getting his story concerning "Christians hiring hitmen" from John Ankerberg himself. Morey says Ankerberg told him how Ankerberg was getting serious threats because of Ankerberg's exposing some of these "ministries" (Jim & Tammi Bakker in this case) and that Ankerberg was "afraid" & needed to seek FBI protection. Morey says Ankerberg told him that Ankerberg got veiled threats such as "We know what school your daughter goes to" & "You're going to be dead." Only Ankerberg knows if Morey is really telling the truth here but it plays into Morey's love of sensationalism. Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." It will get a lot more interesting if you go to the blog site "The Saint Augustinian" on a google or yahoo search and read all the blog articles posted there & then check out all the other sites dealing with Morey also. Yahoo MOREYLINKS & click on to the "dr" Robert Morey Links & a wealth of sites & postings by numerous Christian groups will suddenly be at your disposal. Morey is currently under investigation by law enforcement agencies, interesting!

You remind me on the many cultists I have witnessed to over the last 28 years who are unwilling to analyze their religious condition based on the Bible. Christian apologetics ministries across the USA mention religious frauds & their sins all the time. Is Saint Paul a Muslim or cultist according to you for mentioning Alexander the coppersmith & his evil (2 Timothy 4:14)? Go back to Sunday school please.
