Cambodia Will Get Chance to View 'Who Killed Chea Vicahea?', Filmmaker Says (Cambodia news in Khmer)

U.S. filmmaker Rich Garella spoke recently about his documentary 'Who Killed Chea Vichea?' with VOA Khmer's Men Kimseng. In part one of the three-part interview, Garella explains how the documentary was received when it was screened at AFL-CIO headquarters in Washington DC in October 2010. Chea Vichea was the leader of Cambodia's largest labor union when he was shot dead on a Phnom Penh street in 2004. Bradley Cox and Garella finished the documentary last year. It has been viewed at film festivals in recent months and is scheduled to be screened in April 2011 in Honolulu; Berkeley, CA; San Jose, CA; Long Beach, CA; Riverside, CA; Seattle, WA; Minneapolis, MN; Lowell, MA; and Doha, Qatar.

I bet if every one bear firing arm, this would not happen. If we all teach each other to kill as an art of killing, I bet, the bad Hun Sen. would not be making a smart commons. and so the rest of the leaders. If we wish Hun Sen die,...there will be many other Hun Sen. left, ....because as long as we don't secure constitution. There will endless existance of Hun Sen kind and pop up here and there until the end.

This country is not safe at all, they keep killing the good khmer leaders all the time like in Laos. Cambodia needs U.N. and United States to stay in peace and safe.
