I think I just might like this more tuan the flip ultra HD, mainly because of the 1080 option, bigger screen, better battery life, removeable battery, and expandable memory (SD)

I think the "lines" that you point out might be normal for all cameras because what you are seeing is the shutter. All cameras in theory take a bunch of pictures stringed together to make moving images. The images are divided by the shutter exposures.

I have a video test on the same camera and the same thing happens. It even looks better on TV when I hook it up. Nice town btw. Where is this?
