SONG BATTLE- who you got. Jagged Edge remade The Gap Band's Wednesday Lover.. I love the JE version but I think the Gap Band version is the best.. Charlie Wilson is a beast for real. What do you think? Who you got?

I am a JE fan but the GAP Band gave this song one important ingredient...and thats SOUL. You can tell JE just sing the song the way they heard it (probably) growning up. But, the GAP Band gave this song life and that is WHAT is missing in todays (so called) R&B. Nice try JE but, the GAP makes you believe the story of a man that much in love with his girl. Thank you Charlie, Ronnie and Robert Wilson.

The Gap Band wins hands down. Good attempt by Jagged Edge, but none of them is touching Charlie Wilson. Plus the original has a better feel to it than the remake and to ol' dude that said "Jagged Edge would put The Gap Band out of business", You straight FOOLIN'!

@icecoldbruh These two versions brings back memories for me. I was born in 1990 & I remember throughout the 90s I would sit in the car with my mom listening to her mixtapes on cassette, She had Aaliyah -Never Givin Up, Keith Sweat - Just A Touch, Gap Band - Wednesday Lover & Jagged Egde Version of Wednesday Lover. She swears by all means she doesnt remember & never heard Charie Wilsons version of this. It's been so long ago.
