A "state" is a phase. They always refer to Israel as "the state of Israel" in the West - meaning, it may be different in the future. For example, in Canada, it's an offence to declare on your passport that you were born in Jerusalem, Israel. Because it's an occupied territory, Canada deems this area as belonging to nobody. As a Canadian you can say you were born in Jerusalem just as a Palestinian can, but neither side, by law, can assume it's their territory. It's a punishable offence.

Actually we don't have a lot pf McDonalds here.. only 12 restaurants in all Israel... we have more anothers restaurants....
