@shrksE it's not too hard to picture something of the sort actually being made. I immediately think of the movie iron man, that suit had hydraulics and rockets and heaps of other stuff on it that would weigh a ton but the suit would pretty well hold itself up and with the hydraulics it would make moving very easy. you should have a look at nanotechnology.

@shrksE Special forces are required to carry a pack weighing 28kg, a Rifle weighing 4Kg and all their camo, ammo, webbing and body armor weighing up to another 10kgs. This is a s**tload of weight to carry whilst marching up to and beyond 100km during training and they are able to pull it off, so for a suit that is made, (let's say 50yrs in the future) out of something resembling titanium and Kevlar which would most likely be welded or fused together.

@shrksE Not at all they dont use pure iron, you can use carbon fiber its strong and pretty lightweight.

@shrksE how far in the future is it set. I'd bet on it being made from some high strength low weight alloy. yes, yes I know it's a game and not real but think about it. and yeah wearing a shit suit would be pretty heavy i suppose, but how do you keep it all together.

@GS315ish Well, GS3, i know its not real but if it were, the suit would most likely hinged and bolted together with some kind of metal. The suit itself most likely weighs like a mother to carry around as well. Makes me think about how the hell can you drag around a life size brick strapped around you. :/
