the flood never were very good at piloting other specie's ships

@CASSGO93 ah that makes sense, it looked pretty close but i failed to remember that it was slipping INTO the city, but in real life an object just appearing would cause an explosion, not the other way around, oh well :D

@binman133 from there we can't tell where the flood came in from. It was relatively high in the sky and off to the distance. Regret's ship was just a couple kilometers in the sky and the effects would have been felt more greatly. The "Flood" ship was out of city limits in a country side by the looks of it. Look up slipstream on Halopedia and they offer more into it. Regret's ship entered slipspace leaving an explosion, the flood ship exited leaving an implosion.

i can't stand by this, just a small plot hole, but in halo 2 when regrets carrier went into slipspace it caused an energy wave that levelled a city, how does the flood just slip in like that -_-

@Laskonka32 and if they light the rings then life is over for all the galaxy. so that is why the elites and humans teamed up to stop the prophets. the elites found out that halo was a weapon when the flood boss called "the gravemind" told them. the gravemind wants to stop the rings from firing because it will kill him too. odst takes place after the slipspace rupture on new mombassa during halo 2. seriously get halo 2 for pc and you will totally understand the story

@Laskonka32 get halo 2 for pc it will explain that the forerunners built that structure thousands of years ago in order to take them to the master control center of the halo rings. that is why they wanted to get to earth so badly. the humans thought that they wanted earth because they wanted to wipe out humanity, but the covenant just wanted to get to the ark and the humans were in the way. they want to light the rings because they think it will take them to the great beyond
