Here the thing ! the problem in america on wikipedia they made a mistake.... I'm french ad we created classic danse so.... they say "saut de chat" is like grand jeté but with a "plié" of the front leg.... completely WRONG. A grand jeté is a jump with the leg (behind) straight and the other in plié developpé or straight if you want, you can chose !! a saut de chat is a small jump with one leg after the other, always in plié !! saut a dechat and grand jeté are easily to recognise : come on!!

in french it says something like: Jump the cat. :D

why does it fucking matter what its called anyway it looks the same either motherfucking way !!!!!!!

@danseuseopera "grand jete developpe" can be right too :) ive been doing ballet (not in france) for 11 years, and for years, its been grand jete developpe. when our teacher wants an actual "grand jete" she'll say "grand jete" but usually, out "saut de chat" is a grand jete developpe.
one time, we has a guest teacher, and she gave us a combination and she said "saut de chat" and we were all like what? haha

Sorry it's "grand" !!
I am french, I live in france and I dance in france ;-D
there are two "glissades" and one "grand jeté développé" !
En français à présent : Les deeux premiers pas sont deux glissades, ensuite suit un grand jeté développé !
^^
La technique de la fille n'est pas parfaite ! Mais elle n'est pas si mal !

Fine, you're right from the French perspective, I'm sure. But in America, you're not. Please translate. I only BS my way through French.
