The Cramps are more garage obscure psychos, meanwhile The Meteors are pure psychobilly... Beside that The Cramps would run over this kids.. No-one is Lux comparable. That's it !!!

I think the term psychobilly came out from a song from Johnny Cash. And Cramps is a great band, but besides of the lyrics it has nothing to do with psychobilly. they are garage. meteors are the fathers of the psychobilly

"Psychobilly" was a term coined by The Cramps. BUT, in an interview with SucideGirls, Lux Interior maintained that the term DID NOTdescribe their own style.
The Cramps formed in 1976-a good 3 to 4 years BEFORE The Meteors.
