i was 17 in 1986 and the mets winning the world series is still the greatest sports moment in my life.that 86 team led by hernandez and carter was the best team that i ever saw.they just refused to lose that season.gary carter's death is so shocking to me even though he was really sick.you believed that the kid could beat anything.just like when he said i will not make the last out.that's the kind of man carter was,never quit and never say die.the world lost a great man.R.I.P. KID.
