The Manned Orbital Laboratory (MOL) was part of the United States Air Force's manned spaceflight program, a successor to the cancelled X-20 Dyna-Soar project. Initially, the MOL was intended to prove the utility of man in space for military missions. However, the program was redirected in the mid-1960s and developed as a space station used for reconnaissance purposes. The Gemini B/MOL craft was externally similar to NASA's Gemini spacecraft although it underwent several modifications. The most obvious was the addition of a circular hatch through the heat shield to allow passage between the spacecraft and the laboratory.

no need ussr russia cheap MIR

  • @bestamerica Don't think you can insult Russia. Russians have thier own space station at the moment but they can also take pride in the fact that they are better then you. Your just looking for someone to put down to try to feel better about your own failures. The more you insult Russia the more civilized people know that your not a good person. I already know that your an ignorant savage and I'm not even Russian.

  • You should of made the date more realistic, such as 1971.

  • @RecklessTornado I didn't make the date, I just quoted the date given on the website where I got the movies, anyway, it's not the date that was unrealistic, but the whole engineering project. That's why it never happened.

  • i know how to play that song on guitar haha

  • @RecklessTornado the song is called Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater, which is funny because according to the video its 1965, but the song didn't come out until 1969

  • @spacemooseireland anyway..... whats the songs name?

  • @AcePilot101 While it did reach a stage of advanced development it never flew. 1965 would have been very optimistic even at the beginning. Cool animation though.

  • I had no idea this program even existed - 1965?

    Incredible!
