TERRIBLE Cover of this!!! People who liked it were too busy liking anything the radio threw at then (In those days) 85 x's a week. I call it the 'Yup-Yup Syndrome'; "I heard it 85 times last week on my Favorite Station,.It MUST be a Good Song,Yup-Yup!!" Cher didn't sing this,She YELLED it!! She sounded as full of herself as she probably was in those days.

@ricnmari92 This is just one of those songs that evoke emotion. IMO, this is Cher best performed song with, Dark Lady a very close 2ND. I am sorry about your friend, may he rest in peace.

I fell in love with this song over 43 years ago. I never forgot it. And now my daughter seeks to mend her broken heart because of the often lousy " Way of Love", and again this beautifully simple song floods my soul. Love you Cher. Always will.
