Without the legendary Rafi Sahab's voice, actors like Biswajeet and Joy Mukherjee would've never been remembered, much like Tamil film actor "Mike" Mohan (with S.P.B and Ilayaraja). No offense, just my opinion :-)

I was brought up listening to Rafi, I did not know what a fantastic singer he was until I was 18+, now I am hitting 50, I still cannot get enough of Him.

Now, Rafi is not amongst us, but that divine voice and soul will never fade from this earth. He was, and remains, a major force in film music, the music of love, despair, hope, humoretc. Rafis voice had the healing capability. His music is as calm, as raging, as deep, as beautiful. It is the manifestation of the goodness and the divine.

Rafi Saheb, I don't think any words on earth can do justice to such a magnificent voice truly a gift from the heavens to us. We are truly fortunate to lived in his time to listen to such an enthralling voice. Generations to come will never hear a voice like this ever again.

I have never heard this song prior to this moment. I am literary surprised that Late Mohammad Rafi sahib could deposit his complaints in this bold mannerism. Through out in his carrier no such expression he picked up to express. He was a great man and no one could ever come to replace him. (14th March 2011)

Dear brother ! my heart and soal is so connected with this song that its about 35 years is from first time i heared this melody and never took its place any other song. unfortunately about 25 years ago i lost this songs tape . and i was looking every where to find it ,but i couldnt .finally i found it 6 month ago here.thanks alot for your uploading.
