There are tears in my eyes. Chick put me to bed (or at least hiding under the covers with a transistor radio since I was 11 years old in 1961. Chick taught me the game and made me a Laker fanatic long before the games were on Television. Always a gentelman and gracious. I mourned Chicks passing and still miss and mourn him today. I hope you're calling at least heavens home games now Chick. Thank you.

yeah, thats what i remember about Chick. if the Lakers played badly, he would just talk shit about them. Chick used to piss me off sometimes. But hey at least he tells it like it is, no bullshit from him. other announcers are just such big homers
