@belisariusorb He doesn't specifically say that it was. He just shows the building in which the Communist cultural values were enforced.

First big fib or mistake that I've caught him in so far:
The Lubyanka was not constructed by Stalin, nor was it designed as a spy interrogation centre. It was a Tsarist-era hotel taken over by Dzezersky (sp?) to house the new secret police OGPU who would become the NKVD and then the KGB.
