Great video. Its interesting to see some of the conditions the Georgians train in, what we see here looks very basic but up until the recent Worlds they always do well. Can anyone translate or provide us english folk with a rough idea what Iliadis has to say. Great judoka when he's up for it.

@wazari12 but iliadis has diferent situation, His real name is Jarji Zviadauri Cousin of Zurab Zviadauri olimpic Champion 90 kg in Athen. so he is Georgian he was born and grow up in Georgia but when he arrived in greece he was adopted by greek judo coach nikolas iliadis, it was dificult to get greek citizenship when you have georgian surname thats why he take greek name ilias iliadis and after 6 month he get greek citizenship and started preparing to olimpic.

@wazari12 zantaraia is from gali (abkhazia,georgia) after war in 92-93 his family moved to ukraine and he grew up in ukraine,

@galski88 . Many thanks. I didnt know zantaraia was also georgian, what the hell do they feed them on in Georgia? both are incredibly powerful in their respective weights...when they throw, they throw big!

Iliadis obviously still considers himself Georgian then? I realise the Nationality issue has been contentious in the past personally though I couldnt care who he fights for, I just enjoy watching him fight....a great balance of power and technique.

@wazari12 he says his dream is to represent Georgia and after london maybe..He also says that he was happy to lose to tsirekidze in 2007 world rio because gold went to georgia :))) Our team had some problems with coaches and federation recently but we will come back stronger
