Jesse Evans: Proudly presenting the 15 islands in the Cook Islands...

( March 2006 Video: A re-edited version of the 'South Pacific Rarotonga 2' video )

The islands are divided into two groups:

The Southern Groups are: Rarotonga, Mangaia, Aitutaki, Atiu, Mauke, Mitiaro, Manuae, Takutea, and Palmerston.

The Northern groups are: Pukapuka, Manihiki, Penrhyn, Rakahanga, Suwarrow, and Nassau.

The Cook Islands, named after the explorer Captain James Cook, was first settled by Polynesians who arrived about 800AD.

The 'Cook Islands' is a well known brand name, and this guide will help you explore what these islands have to offer. They present a very relaxing atmosphere with beautiful beaches, and most resorts are within close proximity to the beaches. Being tropical, the weather is pleasant all year round.

Rarotonga is the capital island where all flights depart and arrive from New Zealand, Tahiti and Los Angeles. So we welcome all our visitors looking for that special holiday treat in a stunning exotic location.

This is your holiday guide to a tropical Paradise called the Cook Islands...
