Some of them were based on real people but the characters in the Bible were not real people.

They tell you to never doubt. Never question or have any uncertainty about the bible or the "god" of the bible. Just be totally credulous and naive and gullible. Then they have another built in defense mechanism-the ultimate one-"THE BIBLE IS GODS WORD". lol! Even the bible claims to be from the " holy spirit". SO if this "god" is omnipotent and all knowing, how CAN we question? you cant! lol! The thing that makes the whole thing work though is FEAR of "gods" wrath.

when you have knowledge you don't need faith.
That will stay with me forever! Similar thoughts ran through my mind the other day. the bible verse that says "faith is the EVIDENCE of things not seen" is absolutely contradictory. Verses like this are intended to persuade people to BLINDLY FOLLOW. Evidence means AVAILABLE FACTS. This is the antithesis of "faith" which doesn't deal with FACTS. I've come to the conclusion that religion is of the devil.
