your supposed to prep the alarm before i put it in. by wrappin every wire in groups that go to different locations under the dash. that way you dont have a rats nest of wires and being taped up they blend into the factory wiring. you hook up the neutral safety switch to the neutral wire which sends a negative trigger to the alarm telling the brain the the car is not in gear. if you have an automatic tranny you jus ground the neutral safety switch
