WBAI Radio's internal power struggle in full view as belligerent characters of the Justice and Unity faction show their stuff, displaying contemptuous bullying tactics as they disrupt a Pacifica Foundation national board public meeting in New York City, frustrated they could no longer maintain in power problematic Program Director Bernard White. Jamie Ross presents a graphic comparison of the Pacifica networks' five stations' financial condition. Pacifica chief Grace Aaron struggles to keep order and advance their agenda.
Hecklers include Mimi Rosenberg and Sheila Hamanaka.
How does one enforce a request to "sit down" or to "leave" without bringing in the police?
Here the disruptors know that we won't call the police because it weighs against political principles, so they get away with whatever they want. We COULD move to clear the room, but then the same problem arises, plus it penalizes those who are not participating in disruption.
I have some ideas, but I'm not going to post them here.

Grigsby Hubbard is great!
A heartfelt and thorough report from WPFW's new General Manager.
I was present at a prior PNB meeting when the former CFO deigned WPFW's fundraising gala as "the way to go" to save WBAI and the other Pacifica stations. Now we learn that it was rife with corruption (who covered it up?), false reports and outstanding bills that went unreported. Very troubling.
Thank you Mr. Hubbard! Any help we can give, let us know!

I think that we need to create a Sergeant at Arms and remove folks who the group determines disruptive until they can conduct themselves in a way that is conducive to the presenter being able to be heard.
