Well heres the custom story:

Built in 1936, LMS 5000 was the second Black 5 ever made. He worked very hard pulling a train nicknamed "The Welsh Dragon" due to it running non-stop from London to Cardiff.

Then World War II broke out in 1939. America was sending Britain supplies to back them up from the Germans. The British were very grateful, but they didn't know how to repay America. So, the LMS and LNER decided to send some of their engines to America as thanks. LMS 5000 was one of them.

LMS 5000 was sent to the Arizona and Southwestern Railway. Far away from Home, and with a different landscape, 5000 was homesick. Other engines tried cheering him up, but it did no good. The controller then decided to give the engine a passenger train and to give him a new look to match it. In recognition of 5000's former train, it was named "The Welsh Dragon".

5000 was later named Andrew because as the controller put it: "Every engine needs a name on my railway". 5000 worked very hard on his new route, especially since it was twice the distance of his original: this one was Phoenix to San Diego. Andrew's tender was made bigger so he could hold more coal and water w/o stopping.

Andrew was retired in 1960, the last engine to be so on the AZ and SW. He escaped the scrappers because of the King of England's favoritism for the engine (randomness). Andrew was resent to Britain in 1951 and stayed there until 1970 when he realized America was his home, too. So, he was sent back in time for the 40th Anniversary, and hauled the train again, but under a new alias: "The Southwestern King", but this was a nickname.

Andrew has ever since stayed in America pulling excursion trains along with his friends, since many other AZ and SW steamers were preserved.
