The number of lgbt-identified people has, is and will remain somewhere around 3% of the total population. Additionally, a same-sex marriage does not equal a childless marriage. I ask you - why would you deprive a child of love from their parents based on the parents' gender?

Love has nothing to do with two human gametes. If you are only capable of loving what is 1/2 genetically linked to you, then that is less love than the love of parent to a child not genetically linked.

You're right, hopefully, a man and a woman creating a child are not 1/2 genetically linked, but their child is. Why do you believe that a committed homosexual couple raising a child is family-less? The economic argument is beyond far-fetched as those of gay-orientation have always, do, and will always represent no more than 3-5% of the world pop. I do not parade my sexuality around, I simply acknowledge it if I am in a relationship, like any other human being.
