plus most people don't know this but you're supposed to flush poo out of disposable diapers too, since landfills aren't set up to dispose of human feces. So you're not really saving yourself any steps by having disposable diapers!

@NiamhWitch Seems like the All in Ones would be far less irritating to deal with when I'm tired as heck and just want to get it done. Lol

@SamSamiSamanthaLea Also, I understand if the mother is only breastfeeding, the mess is going to be a lot easier to wash anyway. I don't have a child, but I sure have friends who know this stuff.

Oh, I remember the cloth ones that WEREN'T so easy to put on. Lol

Those things look FANTASTIC... we are first time cloth diapering parents. Well, not first time PARENTS but first time using cloth diapers! We use Kissaluvs and covers. I will have to look into these BumGenius AIO's.

BumGenius are so cute and convenient. I can't wait to try them.

Thats wierd.
I prefer disposables cause you dont have to put the poop and piss in your washing machine.
(right? thats how you wash cloth diapers?)

Kids pee, poop, and throw up on their clothes all the time, and they go in the washer. Plus, any chunks of poo are removed (flushed down the toilet) before going in the wash anyways. ;-)
The washer washes it *all* away and there's nothing left or "lingering" after we do diaper laundry.

why's it called a "All-In-One diaper"?
KeswickCamp08 2 years ago
Because it's the absorbant part plus the waterproof cover, sewn all-in-one. They gon on and off just like disposables. ;-)

I haven't read through all the comments, so I apologize if I ask a question that's already been asked? Inserts? What are those and how many come with a diaper and do you have to buy those separately?? The inserts are washable, correct?
mrscarrey 3 years ago
Hi. :-) Inserts are used for pocket diapers, not all-in-ones (like the diaper in this video). AIO's have everything they need sewn into the diaper and functions EXACTLY like a disposable.
Pocket diapers are just like a 'sposie except that the absorbant part is added by using an "insert" made out of absorbant materials. Some brands come with an insert, some you have to buy it seperate. Yes, they are washable. ;-)
Hope that helped!
