you cant create free energy. i understand what you mean though. but you are wrong.. superchargers need "engine power" to move them, they a parasytic. wheras turbo chargers use waste gases and do not drain any power from the engine to produce "boost" but rather they extract the kinetic and heat energy from the waste exhaust.

@beefcakemonsta Superchargers are instant on, while turbochargers need to spool. True, turbo lag has pretty much been eliminated from the new turbos but superchargers do put out more hp than it takes to create.

if i were to choose i rather go for the turbocharger kit. because you need a certain amount of HP just to run the supercharger, so it saps out some of the power of the engine. but im also amazed that some people choose the supercharger over the turbocharger on a 4 pot engine. makes your car unique in some way, but performance wise, i rather go for the turbocharger instead. you dont have to change much for it to work
