A look at the new Vic's hardware and some examples of the machine in operation. The video was edited and rendered completely on the Vic Slim, using the OpenShot video editor. You can simply download c64 software off the internet. Just find a site that has them.

@indigofilmjesper The two basic VIC-SLIM models do not have HDMI ports, but if you chose one of the two biggest models , you will get HDMI ports :) 999 $ for VIC-PRO.You will get better CPU ( Core i5) 8 GB ram , dvd drive

@alienhddna In the video, you would notice that I have a commodore 64 demo running in a window. By installing the VICE emulator, you can run software for the vic20, c64, c128, or pet. You need the system ROM files for the computer you want to emulate. The Commodore OS that will be made public soon, will include emulation for all of the old commodore computers, including the amiga.

@alienhddna Of course it plays youtube. You'll notice in the video I was playing a flash video on the CNN site while everything else was running. I regularly watch a few things on hulu in full screen mode with only an occasional slight stutter. Most youtube videos can be played full screen in HD just fine.

@Jamesullivan Yeah, no card reader. I guess you can't have it all in such a slim package. I do admit I would have liked one. Although I usually need to access video from my camcorder, so I just plug it in directly via usb, so it's only a very minor inconvenience for me. I remember when apple brought out their mac mini and everyone wanted a card reader. They finally added one, to the back of the machine! you have to reach around and find it, really odd for apple to screw up like that.
