Drip Drop Galaxy
Giant Eel Outbreak

Pikmar27 wanted me to put up a video of a galaxy where you must feed a hungry Luma. Well, this one is the only one I could thik of I haven't yet uploaded, so here we go.

The Drip Drop Galaxy consists of a single tiny planetoid with a population of penguins on it. It's a small place, so their troubles are small too, as far as the scope of the game goes: They're in danger of starvation and extinction because the giant eels, the Gringills, have been eating their food--and them. So it's Mario's job to bring local extinction to the Gringills, as he clearly favors the cute penguins over the ugly eels.

Which makes me wonder...Mario is only helping these guys because they're in possession of a Power Star. So does this mean that Mario leaves a lot of folks out to die if they have nothing to give him?

  • The graphics in this game are BEAUTIFUL [No Homo], when they're not on an HD TV. Who would disagree with me? I mean am I wrong? Tell me if I'm wrong.

  • @TheMomochiMan Why the no homo? There are no homosexual connotations with calling something beautiful.

  • I found it more of an issue of removing an invasive species than Mario having questionable ethics. Apex predators suddenly appearing and eating everything in sight, including the penguins that have already given Mario a couple Stars, does sound more like something Mario would decide to get involved in than outright genocide. XD

  • Do you think the Gringills just arrived there recently? From what the penguins said, I had the impression they were always there and that the penguins live in fear.

Penguru and his youngsters are just fine in the Sea Slide Galaxy, however.

  • Seeing has how the mission is called 'Giant Eel Outbreak', yeah, I kinda assumed they showed up/rose in number recently. Some of the penguins even say things like 'ever since those Gringills showed up' or 'Gringills have been terrorizing the waters lately', implying that they weren't always there.

Though there is also the possibility that the penguins are lying about the water being theirs originally and they're simply abusing Mario's trust to clear the water for themselves... XD

  • Seeing what you said, you're absolutely right. Most likely, the Gringills arrived recently.

Of course, the penguins have a genuine Star for Mario, so they keep their promises.

  • What's with Mario games and giant eels?

  • @Overhazard lol sorry, I decided to play it safe, I was just making sure there wasn't anybody like that on this video. But since you cleared that up for me, oh ok lol thanks XD

  • @RuggedSavior LMFAO YOU TOO!?!?

  • I find it somewhat weird that Mario has to circle the WHOLE galaxybefore he finally lands.

  • I hate underwater missions like this. That eel in Mario 64 scarred me for life.

  • wow... it looks like the gringills attacked the "toad brigade" seeing has their mushroom ships are in the ocean under the sand a bit

  • @DoctorKingWeegee i saw a gringill in the water before the mission so yeh..
