My little 8 minute rant on why Google's crackdown on "content farms" is crap and will deliver a poorer user experience than the big Google thinks

You have not ruined my theory. First, this hit may in fact show how stupid Google really is. That was the point of my video.

I do say in the video that I expected Yahoo and Google to not take a hit, even though most of their "content" is scraped from other sources (primarily the AP and other "news" organizations).

Further, another key point in the video is how would the Google algo change impact "scraped" content.

Material from AC is--by definition--not scraped. It's supposed to be original.
