  • Oh now wait. I just found out that R3 is really R2, R5 is not needed and R6 is really R3.

    Terrible instructions!

  • @1971SuperLead heheh :-)

  • @massdoll, Well, I got mine up and working but even though I used the same transistors as yours, mine sounds nothing like yours. Yours has much more gain. Mine also has a loud hum when I roll the volume off my guitar. I paid $70 for a $20 pedal, and I had to put it together myself! lol What a waste of time and money.

  • @1971SuperLead hahhaa strange man...try remake it...try in diferent amps....i say to you i just follow the schematic from ggg

  • @massdoll Well, I did use it on a very clean 1973 Fender Princton. I used a booster in front and behind the fuzz and got some pretty cool sounds. I thinking of adding some kind of boost circuit to it.

  • @1971SuperLead mmm cool i use now a seymour duncan boost before of my maxon sd9

  • @1971SuperLead well man i don't remember this things....i can send a pic to you...thx!!

  • I see you used the R5 resistor even though the instruction and the parts list say not to use it. Do you tend to set the trim pot on high? If so you may want to jump that resistor and see how it sounds. I wish I could see your upper left hand corner of your circuit board to see if you used the R1 resistor or not.

  • Here's another question. The parts list, schematic and circuit board show an R1 resistor of 1M ohm but it is not on the layout. Did you use one?

Where did you put your R12 resistor? On pin 3 of the volume knob? Or did you not use it like only the layout suggests?

  • I still need to know where the !m resister R12 from the parts list needs to go. There is no R12 on the circuit board and it's not optional.
