Counter Strike Source | Smooth Surf Server [HD]

A short tutorial on how to get a smooth surf server in seconds!
with pro settings as well!

I have made two configs to help you:

Server.cfg and Training.cfg:

if the download doesn't work, just copy these into a notepad document and call it server.cfg or training.cfg (note: you cannot have both configs in one config file)

also, remember to have -ticrate 66 in launch options

The Server.cfg is to make your server surf "friendly".
The Training.cfg is to remove the timer on some surf maps. The timer goes on from the round has started, and when the time has run out, everyone in the server will be teleported to jail. The config is also made to prevent health point loss when you fail a stage.

Hey, I got a problem. When I type exec training.cfg there's a message in the console that comes up.

It says: "

] exec training

No logic_timer found.

No trigger_hurt found.

Unknown command: sv_unlag" Any idea of how to fix this?

@TheGraffarN that's not really a problem, the mapper has just not used a logic_timer and a trigger_hurt. Those commands are just to remove the jail timer on some maps and the -5 hp trigger when you fail a stage. the developers must have removed the sv_unlag command, it doesn't make that much of a difference. so there's nothing to worry about :) it should work as normal.

This is great and everything, but wouldn't it be better with -tickrate 100 instead of 66?

no, 66 tickrate is best for surfing because if you have 100 tic, it's easier to bug on the surf ramps. 100 tic is best for bhop ;)

Neuer css surf server mit bhop plugin fast-dl usw. schaut doch mal vorbei und verbreitet doch den server es lohnt sich :)

you gotta update the server sorry, CS:S got a new CSS update -.- and btw its realy bugged <.< i tryed to use source dedicated server and all that but not allowed, and your way dont work sorry :/
