  • @webbsongs Hello, I am a friend of Alicia's and I am putting together a tribute page to Steve H. and I would like to link to your videos. Would you mind if I did that? Also if you have any memories of Steve Humphries that you would like to share that would be awesome. I am enjoying watching the videos. BTW I am now the new owner of his Alembic Bass, it feels like his vibe is still part of the Bass. Cheers, -Colly

  • @COLLYMANVIDEOS Sure! link away! Steve was a great pal, an awesome bassist and one of the most entertaining people I have met... so you have his Alembic? wow! he loved that bass... he had quite a light touch and was pretty nimble... also came up with great lines... always musical... miss him! stay in touch... I'm not very network minded ... too much time consuming but will try to answer any questions I can.. all the best and great to see a tribute to a fine bass player and much loved friend.

  • I'm an old friend of Steve Humphries from the early days in London, I knew his family very well and we played together in a bunch of bands. I heard he passed away but have no details. Can you help? Thanks. Mick

  • @micksvideostuff Hello Mick, all I heard was that he went to hospital and passed away there.. I believe he was having liver trouble and maybe a stroke... very sad.. he was a great mate and great Bassist.. if you want you can hear the unreleased LION album on my website... he's playing amazing, inventive bass... I miss his humour too

I didn't know his family too well so if you do contact them, best let them tell you what happened.. all the best, Steve
