i know, but i go to basically an all white catholic school. almost every male who plays sports, which is alot, focuses on lifting weights and speed. the football players, soccer players aand of course track athlestes. JUSTIN GATLIN DIDNT EVEN RUN TRACK BEFORE HIS SOPHMORE YEAR

yeah but your forgetting the fact that sprinting events are tradition in black communities. Especially Carribbean communities. Like Michael Johnson said, the reason Jamaicans are so fast is because sprinting is a national tradition in Jamaica.

oh i dont doubt that u have white cross country friends who love distance running, im just saying that ALOT of whites want to and really try to be fast at sprints and just cant do it

not true at all, i've got several white friends who just like cross country and distance running moreso than track events.

long jump, im pretty sure high jump belong to blacks. believe me whites wouldnt rather do field events, thats just all they can do. whites are typically more technically sound and diciplined.
