Howard Dean delivers a message to be played at Meetups in the fall of 2003. It's hard to overstate how thrilling it was that a presidential candidate was ready to go "mano a mano" with George Bush and tell him his war was wrong. At the time, most prominent Democrats were trembling in the shadow of Bush and his flight suit. Dean ended up being a fatally flawed candidate, but I'll always love him for telling the truth at a time when very few others were willing to do so.
