ANGEL IN THE RED DRESS

Written by Scott Mannis (ASCAP) with music producers Susan Collins (Mother Tucker Music [ASCAP]) and Art Labriola (Labriola Music [BMI]), this video, ANGEL IN THE RED DRESS, was directed and produced by Horacio Marquínez and co-produced by Susan Collins. Music arranged and mixed by Susan Collins and Art Labriola, recorded at Fourth Hole Studio, Garrison, NY. Launch party/release of 11-track enhanced CD (with video) December 20, 2011 at Iguana, NYC.

Artist's statement:

"Ever since childhood, I have always found ways to express myself through music. Four years ago, when I was diagnosed with epilepsy, music became a healing sanctuary. This project is a labor of love that I dedicate to all those who struggle with an ongoing diagnosis that can affect their daily lives and can strike at any moment. A portion of the proceeds from this CD will be donated to researchers working to find a cure for epilepsy.

"I thank my family for all of their love and enthusiastic support -- especially my mother, Robin Stern, my sister Melissa Mannis, and my stepfather Frank Moretti. I thank my grandparents, Edith and Dave Mannis, for their encouragement and support through the years; and my grandmother, Roz Stern, for "discovering" my voice and introducing me to the world of Frank Sinatra when I was 14.

"This project would not have happened without the talent, patience and generosity of my mentor, teacher, vocal coach, and music/video producer Susan Collins and music co-producer Art Labriola.
