  • My male Border Collie was diagnosed with Addisons. He is four years old,. I almost lost him but he is doing fine now. But for stress, it will be interesting how you keep a working BC awayn from stress. So many new terms to learn about this disease. Very good video everything you had on the video my vet also told me.

  • When your dog has a crisis every now and then, if you cannot pay the vet bills for at least 2,000 to 4,000 USD, yes, your dog will have to be put to sleep. It;'s unbelieavable the money you have to spend. My dog just died. Very sad. Miserable disesase. Once there's a crisis, it needs hospitalization to stabilize for almost a week. That's why it costs a lot, plus all the medications and tests.

  • Based on what I've seen on the web, this is a very informative video. Thank you for this video.

  • I learned the hard way this weekend when my 4 year old Toy poodle "Bella" went into an "Addisonian Crisis" and was limp and lifeless with little to no heartbeat...I rushed her to the animal hospital where they basically had to revive her and then informed me she had Addison's. Very scary..

  • thas a big ass dog! beautiful tho

  • We took our dog to the vet yesterday and they THINK this may be whats wrong with her but as of now they are unsure. She goes back today for more testing. They pumped her with steriods and rehydrated her but she is still not eating or drinking the way she should and she still has a cough. Thats whats concerning the vet now.

  • Thank You v ery much for this information. My 3 year old has just been diagnosed with Addison's this week.

  • poor wittle doggies :(

    this was informative really thanks

  • my maltese has been diagnosed with addison's for about 3 years now and is doing quite well.. regulating the medication for her and all the bloodwork to make sure she was on the right doses of the percortin and the predisone was a bit costly but she's worth it! thank you for the video, very informative!

  • My Boston Terrier either has renal failure, or secondary addison's disease. I'll find out soon. I REALLY pray it's addison's (if it has to be either...)
