Haha I'm a happy cohabitant and honestly think this is super amusing. It's a big commitment and may not be a legal marriage but is anything but being "more or less faithful" to your partner. Better to know who you're potentially marrying than to have dealbreakers pop up later and cause an expensive and in some circles, frowned-upon, divorce. things don't always need to be so black and white.

Our Blessed Lord went to much further extremes when He taught during His day, and He didn't encounter such disregard for the truth and insensitivity to sin as we do today. This video just told it like it is, that's all.

Please explain what you mean by hypocrisy. There is certainly none in this video nor is there any in the Church's teaching on cohabitation.

Divorce NEVER led to excommunication. Remarriage did, if your previous spouse was still alive and you hadn't gotten an annulment. But just getting a divorce as a Catholic has never been grounds for excommunication. And no annulment is "phony". Each one is taken very seriously, and a marriage can still be annulled if the proper circumstances for annulment exist.

Well, you almost hit all the major Religions... is that so you don't single out Catholics? It's ok, we can take it. We've been attacked much worse than that. But know this: you shouldn't be upset with Catholics or the Catholic Church because of telling the truth. Sure, Catholicism is the only religion that has ALWAYS viewed cohabitation as a sin, instead of changing with the wind as all the rest do. But God is Who you should be upset with because He made the rules, not Catholics.
